Real Wedding Post: Alyssa & Stephen

On August 21st we took a leap back in time with Alyssa and Stephen's vintage-inspired wedding. The romantic ceremony took place under the historic oak tree at Black Barn Vineyard and Winery. Their ceremony was officiated by Anna, a close family friend which made this moment even more meaningful. Once their vows were sealed with a kiss, family and friends cheered, and the happy couple made their way back down the aisle beaming from ear to ear!

Back at the barn, guests were invited to relax during cocktail hour on vintage furniture, which also provided perfect photo opportunities for the Polaroid pictures that were added to the couple's guest book. Koozies featuring their beloved dog, Guinness, kept everyone's drinks cold and their pup even made an appearance for pre-ceremony pictures. Guinness is the best boy! Inside the reception space, the vintage feel continued. Tables were adorned with greenery garland, gold-tone candlesticks, pops of pink and white flowers, and mismatched vintage crystal stemware. Angel Food Catering provided an incredible meal, followed by the most delicious almond cake. The real star of the show was their cake topper! Alyssa molded their dog out of clay and hand painted it to look exactly like him. It was a huge hit! DJ Dean Ackerman got the party started with all of their favorites and capped the evening off with Billy Joel's Piano Man while guests arm in arm circled the dancing couple. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.

Congratulations Alyssa & Stephen!
