Life can throw you curve balls, but it is how you react that truly shows your character. Sarah and Nathan were so kind and gracious as we rode the roller coaster of planning your wedding during a pandemic. It was evident how much these two loved each other and that marrying their best friend while surrounded by their closest friends and family was all that they wanted. We worked hard with the couple and their families to provide a safe environment for their big day and it paid off with a beautiful, safe and effortless wedding day for this sweet couple!
Their ceremony took place out at the gorgeous oak tree on the property of Black Barn Vineyard and Winery. Guests cooled off with a ceremony drink station in the shade of the oak tree before the festivities began. The ceremony was extra special as well, because it was officiated by Sarah’s father, which included a sand ceremony and meaningful vows. Following the ceremony, guests headed back towards the barn for cocktails and appetizers on the deck. The reception seating had been adapted into a beautiful tent on the gravel courtyard featuring a lovely view of the property. Bistro lights were strung throughout the tent over wood farm tables with greenery garlands, votive candles and ivory napkins with menu cards. The dinner was provided by Taste of Heaven Catering and it was exceptional! Not only was it delicious, but the staff-served buffet made it so easy and safe for guests to get their food. The bar service from Big Day Bartenders also served drinks in single-use plastic cups and the favorite signature drink of the evening was by far the Michigan Mule! Formal dances were so picturesque as they took place on the back deck with an amazing view of the vineyard. Hot Beats Entertainment kept hits rolling too with all of their favorites. To satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth there was served wedding cake and pre-packaged family cookies, which were such a hit! The day moved so seamlessly and ended with a sparkler exit to a getaway car for our sweet couple!
