Real Wedding Story: Laura & Jeremy

Laura and Jeremy’s November wedding definitely took a wintery turn when Michigan decided to snow about seven inches the week before their wedding. However, this only added to the ambiance and coziness of their wedding vibe. (Thanks Michigan, we will take you on any day and turn it all into positives!) I had been looking forward to this wedding from the moment I had been in contact with Laura and Jeremy- and it did not disappoint!

Your wedding day is a day to let your freak flag fly, we loved that Jeremy and his guys wore Power Ranger shirts during while getting ready (with a reappearance during dancing!) Laura kept it cool in her Keds and definitely brought the drama with her train.

Their intimate wedding ceremony was held indoors at Black Barn Vineyard and Winery and featured a special unity ceremony between our couple. In a sand ceremony, they combined sands from Bermuda (where Laura was born) and Bay City (where Jeremy is from) into a vessel of shells collected from Charleston, where they first met. Following the ceremony, guests were treated to delicious passed appetizers and cocktails from Glass House Catering for cocktail hour. Tables were adorned with matte blue fabric and lush greenery garlands from Blooms by Bri and lit aglow with lanterns spread along the tables. Everything about this day moved to it’s own perfect beat. Nothing felt rushed, it all just flowed from one moment to the next naturally. Confectionately Yours satisfied everyone’s sweet tooth with delicious red velvet cake and varying cupcakes (hello lemon drizzle!) Our sweet couple also made sure everyone took home a little something to warm themselves up in the form of hot cocoa mix in petite mason jars. Rusch Entertainment kept that dance floor moving with their favorite tracks and it stayed that way until our send-off announcement. At the end of the night, all of Laura and Jeremy’s guests gathered together for a sparkler send-off, which was the perfect way to wrap up this amazing day.

Laura and Jeremy, you two seriously sparkle, congratulations!
