This day was so special to celebrate this great couple! Sometimes when weather has other things in mind it can feel like the day is off-balance from that original vision, but Karlie and Mitch were each other’s anchors that day and held each other on course for what was most important. 

Thankfully the inclement fall weather held off so that the wedding party could take their separate grouping pictures outside earlier in the day. Then as the rain clouds loomed, we pivoted from their outdoor ceremony set-up to create a lovely indoor ceremony space amidst their glowing candles and reception decor. Their pups, Chloe and Pledge even took part in the ceremony and were walked down by two of their attendants. Getting ready to send Karlie and her father down the aisle, you could tell that all of the same emotions were there, even with the location change, it was such a lovely moment. All while it rained outside, appetizers and cocktails followed the ceremony while the couple took their family photos and then mingled with friends and family. Signature cocktails that night were named after their sweet pups, which included a fireball cider slushie and mint julep. After some epic reception introductions, Morton’s Fine Catering served salads and bread baskets for guests to enjoy during the unique speeches for that night. In lieu of speaking in-person that night, their entire wedding party and immediate family put together a video of memories and reasons why they love Karlie and Mitch. It was perfect timing and guests settled into the start of their dinner while watching special memories being shared about the couple. Then the delicious buffet dinner service was served and guests sampled some yummy family-made desserts. While the couple escaped into the after-rain glow with Falcon Film Studios, guests ventured onto the deck, fire pit area and courtyard tent to play corn hole and water pong. Upon returning, Karlie and Mitch cut their wedding cake and opened up that dance floor that was jamming all night long! Dancers were fueled by wedding cake and fun coney dogs served by Morton’s. Then to close out the night, everyone headed out of the space about 10 minutes early, so that Karlie and Mitch could share one last song together!
